We've been hammering out the new record for about a week now, and things are going really well. Besides my little car almost getting swallowed up by a giant puddle outside of Tiny Telephone, things have been going really smoothly.

Highlights for me include fixing my amp, which had 2 dead tubes for God only knows how long, and being able to really lay into some 2" tape. Its an electronic and music dork's wet dream.




We call this little guy Marvin. No one knows where he came from - but he's got a flea collar on so we are not worried. I missed the photo op when he was cozied up on my steel seat - but I did catch a shot of him covering my new jacket in hair.



Gotta love that tape! I especially am proud of people for perfecting a technology, and more or less sticking with it for 50+ years. Thanks coke bottle glasses wearing engineers of yesteryear!



Things can get a little exciting sitting in the control room while other people are tracking.
